These are small approximately 2-2.5" diameter 7/8" thick cuts of natural loofah. They vary in species according to what's available. They vary in size somewhat too but these are all on the smaller side for small molds.
To embed in loofah cuts soap: just soften & rinse the sponge in warm water, then wring it out. Once it's damp, you can squeeze the loofah cut easily so it fits in your mold. The soap adheres and embeds in the loofah better when it's damp, so be sure to dampen it before embedding.
