Our heart molds are NEW, but they look just like the vintage jello molds your grandma may have had in her home. These molds are aluminum and about 3" across point to point and 3 3/16" across the widest part of the lobes. They are about 1" deep. They make a nice size heart bath bomb. These molds are a little thinner than our standard molds, so we have priced them accordingly.
Because these molds are aluminum, not stainless steel, be careful not to whack the mold with a metal spoon because they will dent. The molds are tapered on the edges, so bath bombs unmold easily. I use a brownie spatula to press the bomb mix in, then flip it over onto a piece of cardstock and it usually slides right out onto the paper just by turning it over. If your bomb suctions to the inside, give it a tap with a silicone spatula on the back, or set it face down again and it'll come right out.
