Our decorative vase sea sponges are hand picked specimens harvested for their amazing shape. Use a vase sponge to make displays in your bathroom to show off fancy soaps & bath bombs. Each vase sponge is unique. Pictures are examples of sponges we have had here and a good representation of the variety of shapes they come in. While sponges make for great exfoliation, vases sponges aren’t the ones to cut up. We have more inexpensive sponges in the shop for bathing or cutting to embed in soaps. Vase sponges are for displays.
This listing is for 1 beautiful vase sponge. Since these are natural sponges, the size and shape varies widely. It’ll be between 5-8" on the longest side. All sides will not be that long. So, your sponge may be tall and skinny, or short and wide. The cavity may or may not fit items inside. It may or may not be centered in the piece. They are cut with a flat bottom but some sponges free stand and some topple over. Some have a hole in the bottom and some do not.
If you’re looking for a particular shape for a particular purpose, it’s better to send me a message and let me know *before ordering* so I can choose one according to your needs. Otherwise, swapping for a different one is at your expense. We often ship fast so don’t use order comments for requests. I won’t see it in time. I’m happy to do that for you.
